Responsibilities:
(Training period is at the discretion of B&M Management) Trained in the operation of CNC machines (Mills, Lathes & Swiss) Set up manufacturing equipment, in reasonable time, using documented procedures, to produce quality products Trained to read blueprints for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances Starts machine to obtain first run work piece and verifies dimensional tolerances Operating high-speed sophisticated machines by managing settings and conducting tests to ensure a successful operation in the production process Trained to use precision measuring tools necessary for the inspection of parts produced by each operation
Qualifications:
Have a good knowledge of mechanical devices Must wear assigned PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) according to the area's safety requirements Must be capable to operate all necessary equipment within the assigned department (or area where cross-trained) and work successfully within a repetitive manufacturing environment Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints (We will teach you how, must have aptitude to learn) Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
