The ideal Maintenance Technician will proactively maintain and repair all areas of the apartment community, while displaying a strong sense of customer service.
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician at Shelter Corporation:
High school Diploma or equivalent degree required Must live within 35 minutes of the facility Physical Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
Ability to lift 50lbs Ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, squat and withstand external weather conditions as needed Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician at Shelter Corporation:
Perform light building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs Perform outdoor maintenance duties including:
Watering lawns, trees, shrubs and flowerbeds Shoveling walks and sanding / salting icy areas Sweeping walks and curbs Implement proper preventive maintenance measures to ensure the safety and continued comfort of all residents and be readily available in the event of an emergency Assist with apartment turnover on the first and last days of each month Why work as a Maintenance Technician at Shelter Corporation:
